Civilians have been urged to take extreme caution when going outside as Hurricane Melissa remains a threat to the island. Principal Director of the Meteorological Service, Evan Thompson, issued this firm warning during this morning's (October 28) Special Press Briefing. Mr. Thompson further cautioned civilians against going outside at all after 10 am today as the weather system's eye is expected to reach the island by noon.
